A medieval Doodle Dragon release!

Today is release day at Doodle Dragon Studios! You can get more info and see the design team creations over at Dustin's blog.

I really love Dustin's dragons, so when you see the full release today, you'll see why I nearly flipped! It's been a while since his last dragon image, so I was so thrilled to see a BUNCH of his dragons making their debut! Here's my card:

I decided to keep it pretty simple and use up some scraps from my scrap tray. I really love this line from DCWV. I've only had time to use a few of the papers, but am dying to have more time to play with them. Instead of the usual matting, I decided to turn the mat 90 degrees and let the dragon's hands hang out of the frame so I could tuck the sentiment underneath. This sentiment is actually from High Hopes, but it was perfect for this card!

Inside, I put the rest of the sentiment and lined it with more of the paper from the front. A few rhinestones add a little sparkle and finish the labels off nicely.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for my usual Friday post. You never know if I will have a special suprise!

You know what's coming on Saturday, right? World Card Making Day! I plan to have a post up in honor of the day, then starting on Monday, I will have another whole week showcasing another of my favorite stamp companies with a chance to win some new rubber, plus a design team card to share. Woohoo! Lotsa stuff happenin' in my neck of the woods this next week!

Thank for your visit today, and I hope to see you tomorrow!
