Whimsy Stamps Challenge: Boy/Girl

Monday = Whimsy Stamps Challenges! And did you see over the weekend that they are releasing some new images today? Go get them at the store!

This week, we want to see either a boy card or a girl card! I'm usually pretty good about making cards girly or bright & bold, but a distinctly male card is a bit harder to me. I rely on masculine papers, for sure, and change the embellishments I use so they don't come off as feminine.

I used some wonderful Basic Grey paper for this card, used my ticket punch to add a little interest to the corners. The brads and buttons are BG, too, but from the Porcelain collection - nice match! The inside is lined, too - I know...WOW! I almost never do that!  =D  I also used the sketch from SCS's World Card Making Day challenges.

supplies ~ cardstock: SU! Chocolate Chip, dsp: Basic Grey Archaic, image: Whimsy Stamps Frog, brads & buttons: Basic Grey Porcelain.

Have a terrific start to the week, and thanks for coming by today!

I really like this card. I love how you colored the frog and forget that you can make the frog any color you want.
