Friends With Flair and a challenge

It's finally Friday, so that means it's time for a Friends With Flair blog hop! I think I'm dead-last on the list, so if you missed all the other beautiful creations, start over at the Unity blog.

I have a card today that reminds me of my Granny. She was a quilter, and loved the Depression-era quilts that surrounded her childhood. This October Afternoon paper reminded me of those quilts. To give the card a worn feel, I inked the edged of the papers. I used the sketch for this week's challenge over at the Unity forum.

supplies ~ cardstock: Prism, dsp: October Afternoon Fly a Kite, embroidery floss: DMC, button: stash, flower image: {ippity} Now & Always, sentiment: {ippity} Just Wanted to Say

Thanks for coming to visit today - have a great weekend!

PS ~ Do you love {ippity} stamps? You can buy them from me on my {ippity} page!
