FWF...Priceless

Hello, friends! Welcome to this week's Friends with Flair blog hop! Remember to leave comments all along the way to be entered for a prize from Unity! Click here to see all the blogs that are participaating!

I had a little time to experiment with my stamps, trying to CASE this card by Karen. I love how it uses the same stamp to create a positive and negative image, and I wanted to reproduce it. I'll be honest, however, white ink just doesn't like me. I either over-ink, under-ink or the stamped image isn't sharp enough...it's always SOMEthing! No problems with any other ink - just WHITE! So please pardon the oopses you see, and I would LOVE to have suggestions from you gals about technique or even a different brand of ink. This particular time, I used ColorBox white pigment ink. I've used a la Mode (yuck!) before, too.

Okay, so here are the cards - together and separate. Excuse the crooked shots.  ;)

I think I may try again now that I've given it a trial run. I embossed the white flowers on the dark blue background on the last card, but not on the middle one. I think the embossing definitely makes it pop out more (but next time I have to remember to use my embossing buddy!).

All stamps are {ippity} - the flowers are from Now & Always, the sentiment from Flowers + Friends = Priceless. Get them for 30% off this weekend - just click my photo to add them to your cart!

Pretty cards, great casing! I also haven't found a white ink I like so when I want something to actually look white I have to use white embossing powder.

What oops? I didn't see any. I also have to use white embossing powder because white ink doesn't like me either :)

Great cards! I too use white embossing powder vs. the ink! Perhaps I need to find a great white ink? :)

Tres Bon! I think they are pretty...for white ink, even without embossing, I like to use pigment ink. It pops a little better for me on absorbent cardstock.

Very nice cards! Love the design. I've tried a couple different white inks and I still use white embossing powder on top if I really need it to pop.
