Another award

My SBS 27 sisters, Nicki and Julie gave me this award. I am always blown over by the kindness of crafters, and choosing the blogs to pass this to will be tough. The rules are...

Spring Break Giveaway starts on Friday

I don't know about you, but spring is always welcome in our house. Winters here in interior Alaska are long and harsh, so I always feel a bit like a butterfly emerging from a tight cocoon when spring is finally here. We still have a few weeks to go before Fairbanks is really in spring, but the temperatures are up and daylight is longer. And the one week of Spring Break I get from school is eagerly anticipated!

So, here's what I'm doing in honor of spring's arrival and my week-long break from school: every day I will offer a giveaway that will last only one day. Sometimes it may involve answering a question, or maybe it's a challenge, or it could even be a "treasure hunt"! The point is that it will be fun and there will be a chance every day for you to win something. The deadline will be at 11:59 pm Alaska time. I'm BAAAA-AAAACK!

Phew! What a whirlwind week! It was a great trip, we had very few mishaps, but I'm really glad to be home. I had ZERO time to work on those images I mentioned in a previous post, so I will have to make you wait to see another card. The good news is that I will be on Spring Break starting Friday after school, and my intention is to make a card a day...and offer some fun prizes! So make sure you check back here for the party!

Out of town for a while

I really hoped to have some pictures to share with you while I was gone, but I've been far too busy to schedule any posts for you to look at while I'm out of town. ='(

I'll be traveling with a group of students from my school in Washington, DC, and New York City, for one week. I'll be back on Saturday, and maybe I'll have a post for early the next week. I'll be taking some stamped images with me to watercolor, so I might be able to put together a card or two to share.
