Welcome to this week's H{ippity} Hop! I hope you've enjoyed feasting your eyes on gorgeous {ippity} creations!
I don't do very many fancy schmancy cards but one of the new {ippity} kits, called Regal Greetings, inspired me to try something a bit different.
I started by stamping the medallion repeatedly on cream cardstock to create my own patterned paper. Boy, am I glad I have a Stamp-a-ma-jig! That would NOT have come out quite so nicely without it!
The next step was to stamp the frame and sentiment. The nestie I used to cut and mat the focal panel is just the perfect shape for the frame! And I really love this color combo - very feminine and elegant! I tried something else new to me, too: embossing a patterned paper. I never really thought it was necessary, or even attractive, until I saw someone's card with embossed dsp. Oh, how beautiful! So I decided that I would try it on this card, and I love the result!

Thanks for stopping by for a look! Enjoy the rest of the hop!
