Spring Break Giveaway Day 4

ETA: This giveaway is closed. Random.org picked the winner ~ Here are your random numbers:
5

Timestamp: 2009-03-10 10:13:40 UTC

That makes sunshinecoastgirl (Colleen) the winner of the BG Lilykate papers! Congratulations - email me your snail mail, Colleen!

If you haven't already, go see her card (and everyone else's, too - there aren't that many!).

Did you win one of my giveaways? Check the links above!

Are you having fun with my little giveaways? I hope so, because we still have 6 more to go! Today's giveaway is paper (I can't call myself The Paper Freak without at least ONE paper giveaway, right? LOL) So today you can win...

...a 6x6 pad of Basic Grey Lilykate papers! I love Basic Grey, but it's rarely carried by my local craft store and in limited varieties. Here's one that just screams to me early spring. The pastels are so soft and reminiscent of the first blooms.

How do you win this little goodie? Today, let's do a challenge! You can create a scrapbook page, ATC, card, altered item...whatever. Just make sure you use at least 4 colors in honor of spring's arrival! To make it easier for everyone to see your wonderful creations, use Mr. Linky down below using a direct link to the post where you show off your work. I'll use Random.org and count down the list of entries. Your entry must be in no later than 11:59 pm AKDT (-800 GMT) today, March 9. I will post worldwide.

Good luck!

Spring Break Giveaway Day 3

ETA: This giveaway is now (FINALLY) closed! Woohoo! Sassy Scrapin' (Shelly) won this stamp! Congratulations!

Okay, girlie - I've already got your addy and this little guy will make sure Brayden gets to you safely (you don't mess with bears, ya know! It's kinda like messin' with Texas!)

Did you win? Check out the winner's list above!

Today's giveaway will be another stamp, but this time from Whimsy Stamps! I just ordered some new stamps, and you could be the proud owner of the polar bear (I do live in Alaska, you know)!

So what do you have to do? Simple: leave a comment! Tell me anything you like - what your weather is like, your favorite holiday...whatever - just comment! The twist to be the winner, however, is to be the 150th comment. The greatest number of comments I've ever received was 92 for my first blog candy. I want to see if we can break that! Since there's no guarantee that there will be 150 comments in 24 hours, this giveaway will remain open until the 150th comment, when I will close comments and announce who made the 150th comment. I will post worldwide.

ETA: One commenter noted that I didn't put a limit on how many times you can comment, which was intentional. You may comment as many times as you like, but it helps to spread the word on your blog, forums or message boards!

Good luck!

(P.S. ~ I'll give you a heads up that tomorrow's giveaway will involve a challenge, so get here early to give yourself some time to participate!)

Spring Break Giveaway Day 2

ETA: This giveaway is closed. Random.org chose the number 10, making Shelly from Texas the winner! Send me an email with your snail mail address!

Welcome back! Did you win? Check out the winner's list above! For those of you who are curious, I teach 7th and 8th grade social studies. One person thought I taught math, and another guessed correctly that I teach middle school, but didn't say what subject. There were 4 correct entries all together.

What can you win today? Rubbah! High Hopes, in fact! I absolutely love the images from High Hopes, so I couldn't resist offering at least one stamp from their many images. They just released a bunch of new images recently, and you could get your mitts on a brand new stamp of Brayden the Donkey! I've used the stock photo because I just ordered him, but rest assured he will arrive at your home in pristine condition as soon as I have a winner and he arrives here (I ordered one for myself, too!)

For Day 2, let's spread the word about my little party over here! Post a message about my giveaway on a forum, your blog, or anywhere else. Come back here and leave a comment with a direct link to your post. Please note that any comments with no direct link to a post will be deleted. You may enter as many times as you like, but each direct link must be to a unique post (no double dipping, I'm afraid). I'll use Random.org and count down the list of comments. Your entry must be in no later than 11:59 pm AKST (-900 GMT) today, March 7. I will post worldwide.

Good luck!

Simple "purr-thday" card

I've had this stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy for a few months now, but finally inked it up today. The image & sentiment are from the "Purr-fect Day" set. I stamped them out on gray DCWV cardstock, glued them down with UHU Stic, and popped the kitty's tail up with pop dots over "Pet Paws" cardstock from around the block. A few buttons from Wal-Mart, and the card is done! I used the sketch from Verve's Viva la Verve Week 1 challenge to use buttons with their sketch.

I've never used UHU Stic before, but have used other glue sticks. I like the UHU Stic for two reasons: it goes on purple but dries clear & it has a screw-on cap (not just pop-on). Like the last UHU product I tried, the kitty was starting to pull away from the card right after I applied the glue, but with a minute or so of pressing down, the glue started setting up and the kitty stayed down for good. Sometimes I wish the glue would dry faster, but any faster drying might mean I can't get the pieces glued together fast enough.

Thanks for stopping by to look!

Let's get this party started!

ETA: This giveaway is closed. The winner is KARYN! Please email me with your snail mail so I can get your stamped images to you!

Welcome to my Spring Break Giveaway!

Today's giveaway is an easy one - I don't want to wear you out too early, do I? =D

The prize today is a set of 5 stamped images each of my favorite Gruffies on 1/4 sheets (4.25"x5.5") of 110 lb. cardstock using StazOn ink.

The only thing you need to do today to enter the giveaway is snoop around my blog &/or profile to find out the answer to a question - you may know that I'm a teacher if you've read any of my previous posts, but:

"What grade level(s) and subject(s) do I teach?"

So that no one can just stand on the shoulders of previous comments, I'm going to ask you to EMAIL your answer to me. Just click here to email me your answer. I'll use Random.org to choose from the correct answers emailed to me and count down the list from earliest to latest entry. If there are no correct answers, today's prize will be added to tomorrow's prize. Your entry must be in no later than 11:59 pm AKST (-900 GMT) today, March 6. I will post worldwide.

Good luck!
