FFF...last day of my week of Unity

It's my final day of showcasing Unity this week, but watch for my Unity projects on Fridays. Whenever possible, I participate in the Friends with Flair Friday customer blog hop. Plus, there's a chance to win more wonderful Unity stamps if you find the FFF blinkie! To get started, just go to Angela's blog where she'll have a list of all 50 customers posting Unity inspiration!

Today I decided to create an altered item. ::gasp:: ::shock:: ::oh, heavens!:: I almost never alter things; I don't usually like what I produce. But I saw these journals with kraft covers and blank pages inside and I immediately thought, "Oh, those would make GREAT altered books!" So here you have it:

I started by covering the journal with some Cosmo Cricket papers. It looked so plain, though, that I decided to stamp onto the papers. A little light blue is all it took to add a little somethin. The stamps I used are all from the Folk Inspired set. I stamped on the cover, then started stamping on pages inside, each time choosing a new place and orientation for the stamp.

supplies ~ journal: Moleskine, papers: Cosmo Cricket 'Lil Man, stamps: Unity Folk Inspired, ink: Memento Danube Blue & Summer Sky

Thanks for visiting today! I'll be back later tonight after work with a winner of my blog candy. Remember to comment on each Unity post this week for the best chances to win a Unity single of your choice! Have a great weekend!
