Hello, friends! I hope that you are ready for the weekend, 'cuz I AM! To start it off right, here's a little stamping goodness. If you would like to see more, you can start at the Unity blog to see all the participating blogs. Remember that there's a blinkie hidden on one of them (sorry, not here!); find it, leave a comment, and you could be stalking the mailman for some new Unity!
I think "simplify" is becoming a major theme in my life at this moment. More and more of my cards are coming up CAS or close to it, like this one. I got my inspiration from this card at Jo's blog. I don't have any burlap, but I do have an {ippity} burlap stamp. I went for the mottled look on the flower by inking it first with a light blue, then inked around the outside with a darker blue, and finally carefully inked the stem. The pointy end of Memento Dew Drop ink pads made the job much easier than I thought it would be. A little sentiment and a punched edge finish the card!
supplies ~ cardstock: Georgia Pacific, stamps: {ippity} Bit of Burlap & The Simple Things
Okay, I'm off to get the rest of my chores done so I can play away the weekend - have a good one!
PS ~ Do you love {ippity} stamps? Check out my {ippity} page!
