Today I'm sharing with you a card with an adorable stamp, Ella on Cloud 9 - isn't she sweet?!?!

I love the fact that Ella is floating up in the sky, so I tried out a new-to-me technique: sponging a background over a masked image. I printed out a second copy of Emma on some scrap paper, cut very close to the image, then used some 2-in-1 glue to turn my mask into a "sticky note". Once the mask was on, I cut some scrap cardstock with my largest scallop nestie. The scalloped oval then became my other mask for the clouds. Starting at the top and working my way down, I sponged blue ink around Emma. Then I colored her in with Prismas & OMS, adding a little sparkle with my Sakura Stardust pen. A little white penwork on the heart, and done! Some yummy Bo Bunny papers complete the card. I used this week's sketch over at CPS, too.
